Gösta Boman founded Boman Trading in 1953, after several years of experience at International Textil in Gothenburg.
In the early years, Gösta ran the company entirely on his own, building it from the ground up. Even at that time, the fashion industry in Sweden was well established, and Boman quickly gained momentum, with a bright future ahead.

In 1960, Gösta hired his first colleague, Ryno Wallin, who worked with the company for around ten years. Together, they developed and expanded the business, laying the foundation for the Boman Trading we know today.
